Our
Mission
St.
Anselm's Home & School Association is a volunteer organization
made up of parents, guardians, and friends of St. Anselm School. Our
purpose is to offer assistance whenever and wherever necessary to
promote a quality education for our children. We encourage a partnership
between home, school, and parish committed to sharing information
and providing mutual support. We believe this to be the best way to
achieve our goal, an exemplary religious and secular education.
We
also support St. Anselm School by raising money. Our first fundraiser
is the Walk-4-Education that
is held in the autumn. Monies raised from this event are used specifically
for technology, an offspring being our marvelous computer laboratory.
The Spring
Gala is our second fundraiser and from this we support various
supplemental school activities.
All
St. Anselm School families join the Home School Association, but not
all become active. Please do not be shy. Volunteer opportunities are
available in all shapes and sizes. They consist of the Executive
Board whose basic function is to oversee and coordinate, Standing
Committees that work in specific areas of interest, School
Volunteers who enhance the daily activities of the children,
and Class
Representatives who keep lines of communication open between
parents, teachers, and administration. We would love for you to work
with us!
