Baptism -

Celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at 2:00pm and the third Saturday of the month at 1:00pm. Parents are required to attend a pre-baptismal instruction class before the Sacrament is administered. The instruction class is given on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30pm in the Colbert Center. Families must register for Baptism with one of the priests or deacon at the Rectory Office in advance of the class.

Confirmation – Holy Communion -

The Blessed Sacrament can be received by all baptized Catholics who are free from serious sin during the celebration of the Mass. Arrangement may also be made to those who are ill or homebound. For children who have yet to receive Holy Communion and have reached the age of reason (approximately 7 years of age or 2nd Grade), arrangements should be made through St. Anselm Catholic School or St. Anselm’s Office of Faith Formation.
Reconciliation (Confession) – Confession is the telling of our sins to an authorized priest for the purpose of obtaining forgiveness and absolution of our sins. This is a sacrament and should not be confused with the Penitential Rite at Mass.

Confession Schedule:

Mondays: 10:15 – 10:45 a.m. (Cancelled for Funerals)

Saturdays: 12:00 Noon – 1:00 p.m.

Thursday before First Fridays: 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.

Day before Holy Days: 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.

Anointing of the Sick -

This sacrament is encouraged for those who are ill (mentally or physically), having surgery or fro those advanced in age. Arrangements should be made with one of the priests. It is also most important not to wait for immediate danger of death.

Matrimony -

Please make arrangements with one of the priests or deacon at least six (6) months in advance so that the proper period of formation may be observed and all the details may be taken care of properly. Also a couple is required to take a pre-nuptial retreat, which is “Pre-Cana“. For the more information you can visit the diocesan website, www.pre-cana.org. If you want to know more of the spirituality of Matrimony, you may visit the website of the United Sates Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Holy Orders

Those Men interested in exploring the possibility of a Call from God to the Sacred Priesthood or the Order of Deacon should speak with one of the parish priests.
This secure program works directly with your bank, in the same way as other electronic funds transfer systems you may already conduct (such as utility bills or your mortgage payment). All transactions are done electronically, debiting your bank account or credit card automatically for the amount to which you have agreed in writing. It is a hassle-free, simple solution for today’s busy families.

Can any additional funds be taken from my account other than what I have authorized?

No! The Faith Direct program is strictly regulated, and only you can designate the amount of money that may be debited on a monthly basis. We will not disclose any non-public personal information except as required by law. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to safeguard your information. The Social Security Administration processes direct deposits of benefit payments for more than 18 million people each month, and not a single one has ever been lost.

When do the transactions take place?

On the fourth day of each month your account will be debited for the total weekly contribution amounts you have authorized. Your Church will receive your contribution within four business days.

How can I be sure that my gift is going to my Church?

Your monthly gift will be clearly itemized on your bank or credit card statement with the name of your Church c/o Faith Direct. Your Church will receive monthly statements indicating your support level. Faith Direct will provide you with an annual contribution statement for tax purposes. Your contributions to your Church via Faith Direct are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Can I stop, increase or decrease my payment at anytime?

Yes, by calling Faith Direct toll free at 1-866-507-8757 or visiting our website at www.faithdirect.net.

How does my Church benefit from my participation in Faith Direct?

Your Church will see a substantial increase in net revenue, a decrease in administrative costs, and a clearer picture of cash flow for your Church’s needs.

How do I sign up?
